Miguel is a mechanic and the inventor of the Whizzing Arrow I and Whizzing Arrow II. He runs his own business, Miguel's Garage. Stan and Koji both worked for him before Don Wei recruited them to the Earth Team.
Miguel first appears in A Fresh Start, when Don comes asking for the two star-racers and the mechanics. At first Miguel refuses him, saying that the ships are prototypes not meant for racing. He also refuses to give up his mechanics, saying "Stan is my right arm and Koji is my left!" He changes his mind, however, when Don Wei offers him two briefcases full of money.
He appears again in the last episode The Moment Of Truth. After Stan and Koji return from Ōban, they go back to work at Miguel's Garage. Miguel is so happy to see them again that he cries tears of joy.
