Marcel is Flint's racing partner and the gunner of their ship, the Flying Fortress. He appears alongside Flint in In Like Flint, The Will to Win, and Make Way.
Along with being the ship's gunner, Marcel is in charge of feeding the small caterpillars that keep the ship moving. He treats them like his pets and is upset when Jordan almost shoots one of them. He seems to be a bit more sensible than Flint, though still rather egotistical.
